Jesus David (“JD”) Moises is the founding partner of Your Legal Advocate. He is a seasoned civil trial lawyer and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator whose career has been defined by a commitment to hands-on client representation, courtroom readiness, and the relentless intellectual pursuit of favorable outcomes for the people and businesses he serves.
JD founded Moises Law, P.A. in 2013 and Moises|Gross PLLC in 2017, and grew the firm from what began as a solo practice into a multidisciplinary operation with 45 employees and over 7,500 active cases throughout Florida at its peak, making it the sixth-largest firm in the state in volume of lawsuits against insurance companies on behalf of policyholders. Throughout that growth, he personally managed high value files and remained the firm’s main lead trial counsel, personally handling litigation from inception through verdict across a wide range of civil matters.

Practice Focus
JD represents individuals, families, and businesses across Florida in a wide range of civil and family law matters. His litigation practice encompasses commercial disputes, insurance bad faith and coverage claims, real estate and title litigation, breach of contract, business torts including fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, condominium and HOA disputes, landlord-tenant matters, personal injury, and family law including injunctions, dissolution, custody, and equitable distribution. He also provides transactional services including entity formation, contract drafting, and real estate buyer/seller representation.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, JD offers mediation services for civil disputes, bringing his trial experience and bilingual capabilities to help parties reach resolution outside the courtroom.
JD is also available for co-counsel engagements with other law firms that need experienced trial counsel for complex civil cases heading to trial or arbitration.
